Dragonflight Renown

Dragonflight Renown can be earned even while solo leveling by completing faction quests and daily activities. Here’s what you should focus on:

• Completing World Quests related to the various factions will reward you with reputation points;
• Each faction also offers a number of Weekly Quests that give substantial Renown;
• Purchase Faction Contracts from the Auction House. These contracts grant additional reputation with a specific faction when you complete World Quests on the Dragon Isles;
• Participate in Siege on Dragonbane Keep, Grand Hunt, and Community Feast events, which occur every few hours. They reward a large amount of reputation with the Valdrakken Accord, Maruuk Centaur, and Iskaara Tuskarr;
• Completing Skyriding Races can grant faction reputation, especially for the Valdrakken Accord.

Regardless of whether you align with Wrathion or Sabellian, the questline remains consistent. What sets them apart are the distinct rewards each faction offers. Importantly, pledging allegiance to one in a given week won't penalize your reputation with the other. This flexibility allows you to alternate between them as you see fit.

You have the opportunity to earn reputation with both factions. In fact, gaining reputation with both is essential if you're aiming to obtain the coveted lava mammoth mount from this region.

To achieve the "Best Friend" rank with Wrathion, follow these steps:

1. Undertake the "Quest Allegiance to One" and choose Wrathion;
2. After making your choice, you will receive a weekly "Keys of Loyalty" quest;
3. Join a Looking for Group (LFG) specifically for this quest;
4. Collect 30 Key Fragments and 3 Key Framings from mobs;
5. Combine these items to craft the Restored Obsidian Key.

Handing over 20 keys to Sabellian triggers the appearance of the rare creature, Death's Shadow. Each time you defeat this creature, you gain an extra 250 reputation points. As for Sabellian's reputation system, it has six levels. You'll need 8,400 reputation points to advance through each rank.
